Shane Johnson is an underground mining professional with 36 years of experience in both coal and hard rock. Shane joined BMTJV in September 2023 and his role sees him accountable for the safe operation of underground mining activities at BMTJV. Shane is an avid supporter for the growth of Bluestone employees, diversity within the workforce and the safe delivery of our mining plan.
Nathan Parsons is a mining/maintenance professional with 30 years of operational mining and regulatory/statutory management experience. Nathan joined BMTJV in April 2022 as Manager of Operations. His role sees him accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the mine to ensure delivery of the mine plan.
Mark Recklies is a Mining Engineer with 30 years of operational mining and management experience. Mark joined BMTJV in March 2017 as General Manager and was promoted to Chief Operating Officer during 2021. As COO, Mark’s role sees him accountable for the long-term strategic direction for BMTJV’s people, assets, processes, communication, and financial strength.
